That is an impressive paint shelf. All I have is a short plastic tray-drawer at this point... but it works for now.

This was my favorite part of the entire post:

The fact that you are able to do so much for so cheap really makes me happy! This is a very expensive hobby and its great to see what people can do for so cheap!

Thanks @Warden ! The "price tag" of $0 is my favourite part too. :) Plus it's good to reuse things that might otherwise end up in the garbage. Helping the wallet and the environment at the same time!

Time for another small update. I've painted the door handle and the rivets....

The door looks perfect, still amazed by the level of detail on the entire piece.

    Thank you! :):):)

It's almost done. All that is left is the roof, chimney top and base.

Take it further, get a solar led and place it inside the window.

Really is an impressive piece of terrain.

I finally got back to my house project. I softened the bevel on the base, making it less steep. What do you think?...

Here is the next update. Phase One of the roof is complete, the synthetic fur has been cut and glued into place. Looks pretty silly now, but hopefully it will shape up into something better looking soon.

Phase 2 will be saturating the fur in PVA glue and brushing into place (pictures to follow :)).

    Cheers,

More than one way to skin a cat but here @NIGHTBRINGER shows us what to do once you've skinned that cat and why you'd want to in the first place ^.^ I hope the end effect looks good cant wait to see

Thanks @Crowsfoot , @SlanntaClause & @Bowser for the words of encouragement. I've applied the glue but I have to let it dry before I can take some pictures.

Sweet roof! First pic seems that wind´s blowing on the house :joyful::joyful:.
And also better bevel, that way you can place models on the edge ;):)
Will you leave the roof that colour or will your paint it? That dark brown matches excellently with the stones :D

It has to be warm to survive those cold grimdark Chaos winters!

Thank you. I agree about the bevel, thanks for the good advice.

I have since painted the roof and it is a bit lighter in colour. I just have to snap a couple of pictures and I'll post them.

The roof is now complete and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Let me know what you think...

All that remains now is the top piece of the chimney and the base!
