Blog Phoenix's Conversions and Other Randomness

This is taking shape! Looks pretty awesome.

Taking your progress into consideration I bet you'll have finished you Nakai much earlier and (taking into consideration that I started last year) quicker than I will finish my slann...
Good job! Now I feel pushed to progress with my project...;)

I'll probably finish the sculpting, but not the painting.

No new conversions, just painting updates. First, the Sotekhound. I finished the skin, so now I need to do the teeth, eyes, and scales.

I haven't done much on Tara-xotyl's base, asides from some rust and the start of some gemstones.

The head and axe are coming along nicely I think the muscles will look better with some smoothing over with liquid greenstuff or something to make them more fluid together

Some scenery I made out of various wooden things, including popsicle sticks. I'm planning for it to be a sacrificial area, with the table-looking thingy in the center going to be an altar where Skink Priests would sacrifice prisoners to Sotek. The jar in the corner is either going to be a place to hold the remains of the sacrifices to be fed to the Rippers or the place where the ritual daggers are kept. I still need to add some greenstuff to it.

Interesting idea of doing an altar, that is something I need to look into doing at some point. You find the wooden bead/things at a craft store?
