Hey guys, wanted to showcase a few of my minis. The idea here is to create a living document to show some of the progress with my army. I liked the idea of space lizards, so I wanted to create an army that appeared to stalk and protect the darkest rifts of the cosmos. Always open to feedback + looking to improve!

So here's the first piece, a converted skink priest. Was lucky enough to place in the golden serpent with this guy.

I think if I ever get some 40k T'au I will try and replace some heads with Saurus or Skink heads, just to see how it looks.

After the conversions, I wanted something special for them. Got the knights and vet commissioned by BTP, and am stoked with the results.

Thanks -- feel free! There are 16 knights and a single scar vet. I got them at a level 4 and a level 5 respectively, so it wasn't very cheap. Probably best to contact them for a quote, but just at a baseline a single knight at level 2 (most basic) painting was quoted for about eleven bucks.

$11 for a basic paint job on one model?

I think I may look into starting doing commission work!

Yeah, I had a friend who did commission work but he had so much trouble with "clients" paying him for his time (he made them pay 1/4 up front as well as purchase the models - if they backed out on him he kept everything) and also wanting to change their mind on color scheme, number of models, etc., that he eventually just stopped doing it altogether. He was really good and even painted several armies as well as designed the intro for several well-known BatRepers. But with all the change the industry has seen in the last few years, he saw a drastic decrease in demand. People just didn't want to invest in models with so much flux going on.

Going off that then is the Sunblood better, worse, equal to your commissioned pieces?
