If you take a closer look, you can see that every scale was lined using grey and white, sometimes i just glazed the highlight. White as a ending color is great when opposed by black as maincolor. You get the high-contrast look. And it's not that hard, just dauntingThat is some mighty fine painting. It turned out amazing. How did you get the scales on the cold one to turn out so well?
What is the key to the placement of the white? Does it go over a subsection of the grey line?every scale was lined using grey and white, sometimes i just glazed the highlight

After almost half a year since my last post, I'm proud to present finished Scar-Veteran on Cold One. I'm going to put gloss varnish on gems and maybe dirt to make it look wet. Base is very simple, I may add some bits or water effect in future (but i'm not certain yet).
I finished it last week. Enjoy![]()
Does the white go all the way around the scale, or just at specific sections (top, bottom, etc.)?Yes, it goes over grey as a 2nd grade of lining.
Wow that is amazing! What is that greenish-head trophy on the side, it looks like the saurus hacked off the head of a cave troll!
