Can I get people's thoughts on the color scheme?
They look good but I think the red is too clean maybe dirty it up a bit, other than that cool scheme.
IMO it looks good.![]()
I'll throw a sepia wash on the shieldsNice scheme. But I agree with @Crowsfoot ... the red looks a bit too clean... or the shields in general...
50+ undead, 3 chariots, 1 warsphinx. 4.5-5 hours into thier soak.
Issue 1: Alot had varnish so I'm expecting a re-soak.
Issue 2: we had some feet clippage particularly on the ancient thin skeletons from what I think is 2nd edition. I'll betackling this with basing or brown polymer putty (brownstuff?)
I'm making custom stone tile bases.Just glue them on the base then pva around the feet add sand it will look like they are rising from the grave.

Metal plastic or resin? Or a mix? If so what types?What is your paint stripping process? I picked up a couple armies second hand that were painted and would love to repaint them.

Go to your local dollar tree and get a few of these. Best stuff I've ever used for metal, plastics are close too.I swore I replied already, sorry. Mostly plastic, some metal.
@NIGHTBRINGER your thoughts sir?So, y'all, decisions:
5 more sphinxes ( I have 2)
Or ushabti hordes
Or catapult battery (5)
Or more infantry?
Or chariots?

Soak them. Metal models 8 hours, plastics 24 hours, then scrub with a manual toothbrush and warm waterThanks! So just an all purpose cleaner and a tooth brush? Do you soak your models or just spray and scrub?
Also for your question I'd love to see some sphinxes.
