    Hey everyone,

This weekend is the Adepticon AoS tournament and I wanted to make a post where we could make some predictions about what we think will happen.

No need to be super specific, this is just to get people talking about the meta right now :)

    Here are mine:

    1. There will be a Seraphon player in the top 5
    2. Nurgle armies will be everywhere and they will show their new strenght
    3. I expect less Tzeentch players in the top 10, as the last armies to get updates/battletomes all have some sort of save against mortal wounds

    What about you guys?:D

    Legion of Nagash will win
    Maggotkin will be second

I also expect at least one or two Death players in the top10, together with Nurgle and the usual suspects.

What would surprise me the most is actually the Beastclaw Raiders 3rd (would love to see it happen tho), what's your thought process on this? Or maybe that's just your wild guess :p

Since Legions was released I've probably watched 50 batraps only 2 armies have beaten them, Maggotkin and Raiders, at low point games Maggotkin are very strong as the points increase Raiders get stronger, Stornhorn, Yetis and mournfang can do a hell of alot of damage, chuck a hunter in as well and you have a solid fast list.

I still think if Legions is played right it will top the pile just depends on which way they build the list, Legion of Sacrament is very strong (my fav by far)

The Grand host of Nagash is not so strong, I've seen Nagash get wiped out within 2 turns.

All valid points, I can't wait to see what will happen! Would love to see this big of a shift in the meta!

Side question: Where do you get your fix of Battle reports? I personnally watch Miniwargaming, Miniature Guerrilla warfare and sometimes Wargamer Online but I'm aways looking for more channels to follow!

I saw the last game on Warhammer TV on Sunday, it was a Seraphon vs. Fyreslayers but I'm pretty sure those guys were neither of the Top2 and 3 finishers. They did mention they were undefeated to this point, So I'd say we as a faction did pretty good this weekend! He was playing a Thunderquake, and a pretty basic one at that with the Engine of the Gods and Slann. As for the 3rd place finisher, I can't wait to see what his list was!

I think you can pay to rewatch them but that's probably not worth it.

If you subscribe to Warhammer TV on Twitch you can then go rewatch the VODS of the weekend. Otherwise there is no way to Watch them for free other than live

    Hello Everyone,

I managed to place 3rd in the Champs this last weekend. Here is my list:

    Allegiance: Seraphon

    Leaders
    Engine of the Gods (220)
    - Artefact: Light of Dracothion
    Slann Starmaster (260)
    - General
    - Trait: Great Rememberer
    - Artefact: Incandescent Rectrices
    Skink Starpriest (80)
    Celestant-Prime (340)

    Battleline
    40 x Skinks (200)
    - Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers
    40 x Skinks (200)
    - Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers
    10 x Skinks (60)
    - Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers

    Units
    9 x Ripperdactyl Riders (420)
    1 x Salamanders (40)

    Battalions
    Shadowstrike Starhost (170)

    Total: 1990 / 2000
    Allies: 0 / 400
    Wounds: 149

I played against a moulder list, alarielle sylvaneth list (my only loss), and three stormcast (stardrake, vanguard wing, and aetherstrike).

Ripperdactyls were great and accounted for a hellpit, 6 rat ogres, 20 dryads, treelord ancient, 36 liberators, and 5 judicators. I outdropped every opponent and always took first turn. The list works well with having many different ways to deal damage (range, MW, combat) and everything does something from the very start of the game

Other than the one loss I got max points in every other game and max soft scores. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer. Thanks!
