Blog Canas' armies

Except basic infantry. The only sub assemblies there, if you'll call it that, are shields
I rarely if ever paint my sauruswith shields on.. their arms always get in the way...

I happened to buy an exiting hobbyists army. He had two steps mostly built but with the howdahs off. They have not been touched yet
meh, as long as the howdahs aren't attached it's fine. Are the skinks already attached to the howdahs? Cuz that'l probably be a pain as well.

One of them had the skinks yeah. I extricated them

Are start collecting boxes quite a good use as a hero creation tool
yup they are. You can easily make a hero or 3 out of em without any real conversions. With some imagination you can convert some of the saurus warriors as well for another oldbood a sunblood or an astrolith bearer. And the leftover pieces from the carnosaur/troglodon you can also make into another one (there's some troglodons coming out of the water conversions laying around the site). So yeah, if you're good and have some imagination yo can make quite a lot out of that one box :p

Very true. Although I've never seen a sun blood conversion from them. I would love to see what you think that would look like.

meh, I already put em together, no longer have any bodies. Only have the Knights and troglodon left :p

In general though, the easiest would be using the oldblood on foot's body pieces, then you just need to make a fancy shield from him. That shouldn't be too difficult. Possibly you need to also give him a tail and back if you build the carnosaur.

Using a saurus warrior as a base will be a tad more difficult though, they're significantly shorter. I doubt that's going to look too amazing tbh. It doesn't really convey the savagery and age of an sunblood.

What a mix between the old blood on foot and a saurus Temple guard work? Of course the different Shields obviously necessary

Meh, you'd still rely mostly on the old one. The temple guards have the same contained poses as the warriors. they're just bigger. A sunblood looks far more aggressive.

Gotcha

In all honesty, no idea, so I'm going to say that it's not on this one :p

And if it is, he just got injured on his back and it sprayed over his wing. We can make it work
I like the way you think

I always like seeing an injured SCE (that sounded a bit cruel... oh well, chaos taint and all).

Great way of turning a bad situation into a good thing!

Hey now. It's not a bad situation because he can still fight.
