I’ve just had a brainwave about how a decent use can be made of the Alarielle kit - use the beetle on his own as a Khemric Titan! Paint him blue and gold and watch him fly around the enemy’s lines and wreck stuff.

I've had the thought myself. Mind you the Alarielle's beetle is quite different from the ones typically depicted in Tomb Kings material, but it could still work. Expensive kit though.

I think Alarielle's beetle could look really good with the proper paint job, but it would be very hard for it to beat something like this...

True, true, but a true least Alarielle’s beetle is easy to obtain - that converted one must have taken a huge amount of time to make and paint. In any case, you could adorn Alarielle’s beetle with spare Tomb King bitz to make it more like the illustration in Monstrous Arcanum.

In any case, the price paid surely matters little if you can get a dirty great beetle to give your Tomb Kings some much needed melee punch.
