Not yet. I can use it as a visual aid when making a new one. After that I will discard it.

Looks good. Do you make a frame for the wall to set up in?

Is your stone wall made of tiny rocks? Or is it made of wood that is carved-dremeled to resemble-imitate Stone?

(If I have read this already and forgotten :: apologies.)

Just like the small house terrain piece I built, the wall is made from real rocks (which I collected at the beach). This wall was actually the test piece for the technique I implemented on the house. Behind the stones there is a wooden support structure onto which the rocks were glued.

The support structure make sense. I was thinking a mold-frame, like for pouring concrete. lol

The plan of the Old Ones Revealed

    Here it is:
    A4232D74-6137-4CB7-A027-709490CEA5C5.jpeg
Take the piece and using your band saw or a jigsaw cut it into three pieces. Take care that the warped plastic only exists in the middle piece. The middle piece will be discarded. Next:

Using the tiny stones like the ones from your test wall, build very low (we're talking curbs) walls against the vertical cuts you just made on the two pieces that can hold trees.

Now you have scenic base stands for the three successful trees.

    Next:
Build a new pond. Don’t use the water effects this time. Give it a flagstones border perhaps. No embellishments.

    Then:
Use the three pieces together as an Oasis.

An interesting plan (and a very lovely diagram I might add :)).

I still fear that it would involve more work and effort than simply creating a new one. Plus I've been experimenting with the old piece, a bit more damaged now. :D

I just love how @pendrake gets involved with terrain projects, his help and ideas on my gaming board have been very much appreciated.

Nice wall by the way ;)

    Nice
I remember seeing a terrain project in White Dwarf ...that I think was a Beastmen fort... that was made of sticks-twigs in this fashion. I liked that one and have been collecting suitable “timber” ever since.

    How tall is yours?

Are these posts made of scavenged twigs or did you carve-sculpt dowels to look like logs?
(I think that is what the WD builders had to do.)

Will you be making wrecked versions of these obstacles? (For swapping out if a chariot, S-tank, or cannon fire takes out a gap?)

    Thank you kindly my friend!

Good eye; you're correct. It's from one of the Marauder standards.

The posts are about 2.5 cm tall, and from the bottom of the base to the tip of the posts would be about 3.5cm.

Scavenged twigs. I collected them from the backyard, cut them to size and whittled the tops down to a point.

I hadn't thought of it, but that is a neat idea. For now I want to move onto desert terrain for my TK, but I might one day come back and do something like that.

Paint mixer (for those of us that paint so infrequently that the paint really settles)
