    Yeah, I'm kind of bummed out about it. Especially considering that up until that point it was turning out very well in my opinion.

    I never should have trusted that GW Water Effects. :( What a horrible product.

    You got three nice trees out of it. Box it up. Don’t look at it for a week.

    Then consult with The Great Pendrake for a new plan. All is not lost.

    I know... and I like how you adapted it to your situation... really poetic... especially when seeing high temperature is the main cause of both downfalls...

    Though Icarus really should have known what will happen... while no one could expect that water effect stuff to be the wax in this story...

    It's GW... I should have know. They make the best models, but some of their hobby supplies are highly questionable.

    Sorry about the desert oasis disaster (Life just isn't life without tragedies :( ).

    On a much brighter note, i looked up the photos of the cottage you've made long ago, and i have to say, it has been AMAZING experiencing the progress you've made on the cottage! :snaphappy:

    Good advice, thank you! :)

    This is true, what that lesson is remains to be seen. I've narrowed it down of one of two things:
    1. do not attempt to create terrain with water features of any sort (a.k.a. do not attempt to step beyond the limits of my skill/comfort) :confused:
    2. do not use GW water effects :rage:

    Edit: I also learned to keep the heat gun away from backings made of acrylic. :p

    Honestly it isn't even worth it to try. With less effort I can make a new one. It will never look as good as I want it too. The bottom is warped, the Water Effects on top is wrecked.
