Hi guys!

I was asked a couple times how I did the basing on my Eavy Contrast Marines and while I'm working on the longer videos I decided to make a series of videos on basing, starting with my favourite method Basing Paste. This is exactly how I base my marines.

Thanks for watching and I hope you find it useful!

Thanks guys. It's appreciated.

Yellow and white are two of my favourite colours to paint, with flesh. I think it shows.

@Itepixcauh, as always a great video. I know your skink color scheme is established and strong, but have you given any thought about trying one with contrast? Or, since you've allowed marines into Lustria, maybe trying a saurus warrior with contrast steps? Thanks!

Well I don't own any Saurus.... that can be difficult. But I can do a skink for sure

I've been asked so many times how I base my Lizardmen that I decide to make a video about it!

Also featuring how I paint the stonework of my lizards too.

Hope you guys like it!

Really great!

Realized I had never actually gone to your channel before, only ever watched your videos from here. You have a ton! Consider me subscribed :writing:

...also I really liked your method to "seal" the sand onto your base by locking it in with watered-down PVA glue.

indeed its a smart method, just remember the first round of pva glued sand really needs to be dry as the water can reactivate the previous glue and make the sand glide / fall off

Thanks! Yeah I do have quite a lot of videos, and building up.

I apply the second coat with the PVA fresh! Right after I dip the base I dilute the PVA and carefully dab it on the top, super gentle, and the capillary action will do the job.

My Salamander Eavy Contrast Marine is DONE! Go check his full video tutorial here:

This is probably the Marine I'm most happy with so far, extremely good fun to paint and I just love painting green, specially one that is so bright and intense. As always all done using just Contrast Paints with extra Highlights.

Hope you guys like it!

Grrr..... you make me want to get some Space Marines.
Salamanders are among the very few I _kinda_ like. A bit. And you painted that one so well, I want some too.
You are the devil! Admit it!
