Kroq Gar would be awesome, and we don’t have any named saurus heroes (except maybe Klaq-Tor) and Kroq Gar would definitely be a very fun model to use

Just a named character for each race would be amazing

What models are likely to remain unchanged? I was about to go and buy some kits today until I read this thread.

Basically I was going to start a seraphon list for first time but if there is likely to be updated book and models I think I’ll not bother yet.

we don't know this is all speculation most of our stuff is 15-20 years old so it could be anything like gits or nothing like cities. that sead a few things we can be fairly shur of is that carnasaurs bastiladons and probably stegadons wont change they are the newest and have aged the best. other things that im less serten of are skinks teradons and ripperdaktels. the rest are either old resin models or our oldest stuff so who knows

Rippers and Teras are just as new as the Bastiladon and Carnosaur kits! We shouldn’t see them going anywhere.

So if I manage to get my mitts on a Starclaw strike host kit then there is a good chance I might be ok if/when the new Battletome comes.... just seems stupid that nothing is certain.

At a guess if I went into games Workshop store I’d get no joy out of them either?

the starclaw is awsome i got one and i love it. but ya it baffles me that GW doesn't have a rode map for releases.

not necessarily i got into seraphon last april and we were fairly confident that we would get a book last june. it's all dependent on how much you care about having brand new skulps. if you just wan't to play for fun and not competition then you should be fine

If I went and bought models only for them to be updated 3-6months down the line I’d be like a spoilt child

the kit though looks almost perfect, if I got one my idea would be to assemble and paint them and then look at a Slann and a few Razordons

thats a good plan i don't think anything in that box is going to change maybe skinks but they have held up great and even if the slann changes his curent model is good to. i would proxy razordons at the verry least i think they are geting plastic models in the near future

Mwha, announcing upcoming models far ahead of time would probably decimate their sales. If players know a new saurus warrior sculpt is coming they'l probably be completly unable to sell their remaining stock. Even if the new stuff only comes in 5 months or something. So I can understand that they keep that as secret as possible.

not what i ment you don't have to say "hay we are making new saurus wariors" you could just tell us "hey guys tzeench is hitting the shelves in january and we should see seraphon sometime in february and a new faction in march" that way you could wave away the fears of neglect that we have been dealing with for the last 8 months. i don't know how many times this year that i've wan'ted to buy somthing but had no idea when things would chenge even now we could be waiting until summer but every one is afraid of buying stuff incase the news drops next week this is not a good way to sell models.

meh,I think that'l either end up killing the hype or make even more people hold off on buying stuff cuz it leads to the following situations either:

    A) they announe seraphon get "something" in february. People get overly excited, and hold off on buying stuff cuz they expect X Y & Z to change and get new sculpts etc. So until february little to no seraphon sales. Also, if the actual release doesn't live up to the hype people build up in their head sales will be down.

    or

    B) They announce seraphon get X, Y & Z in february, explicitly stating they won't be getting A, B or C. Which creates two issues; first february is ages away, so the hype will die down. And second, if the release isn't super interesting, say only a tome but no new model, people will just be moaning about how boring and little it is till february, kind killing the hype.

Admittadly, they could do more than they currently do (which is well nothing...) but I dont think they can do that much either more either..

or they say sorry nothing in 2019 and we go about our business for a year insted of constant will they wont they. and then when they tell us there will be somthing in 2 months it's just 2 monthes of lower sails insted of the better part of a year (or in the case of say BCR or KO 2 years)

With some luck we won’t be left waiting for to long, and I’m sure new seraphon sculpts would sell well as we really need new ones

Well I’ve just been to warhammer world and the seraphon stock looks non existent, no bastilodons, Stegadons, or riperdactyles. One box of skinks two boxes of Saurus warriors.... everything else were fully stocked with other armies. Either Seraphon is very popular or they haven’t bothered stocking up. Fingers crossed for an update soon

It is almost impossible to get any seraphon in my country from local stores. I had to order EotG from GW store, which ended up kinda pricey. I think, SC! box and skinks are the only stuff that can be purchased reliably.
