I like all orcs and goblins. Not equally, don't get me wrong, and I've always had a fondness for the old chorf Hobgoblins, but I love (and have) models from every kind of orc/goblinoid (including the aforementioned chorf Hobgoblins). Greenskinz care not who answers da call to waagh.

Hmm. A combination of "clean your hobby area" and "I should organize my life" has resulted in me doing some trades to, um, let's say 'condense' my hobby selection down a little. Got some Scions and a Valkyrie in the mail today, result of one of the trades I did. Repairs are needed, but we shall see what they become...

Even in prep for an upcoming convention, I found time to build a Chaos Dwarf bloodbowl team.

Also finished some terrain I've had for a while although I still need to base them or perhaps create a diorama for each

The classic Garden of Morr and Skullvane Manse terrain pieces - too Imperial to be part of my collection, but still relics from the age of proper Warhammer!

    Hobbywise today...

Mostly trying not to barf (caught the stomach flu) while tinkering with a box of Bloodletters I had lying around.

A bit of an update on where my Salamanders collection for Horus Heresy and 40k is standing:

    20230307_232728.jpg

Top shelf is everything I've been normally packing into a 3000pt game.

Everything below that is spare parts, models that come out once in a blue moon for bigger games, 40k-only crap, and silly side projects.

I went by the GW store and had some fun with the mini of the month. All plastic used is from the sprue of the mini itself.

Been having some sorting out due to some mouldy wall affecting some things, great interruption on something that makes me personally think it will be my best painted miniature yet.
Waiting on a bookcase with doors to be delivered on Saturday so currently calculating in my head if I can fit my main armies on one shelf respectively, so Lizards on one, Skaven on another. Might persuade me to paint more knowing as most of the collection is in boxes.
Even though I try to aim on getting hold of every of Lizardmen miniature history I am on the fence on selling my metal Lizardmen Bloodbowl team, still in it's box from the made to order. It's the thought on whether it counts towards it really and wanting to get some space for when I eventually get 3D printers, room for more minis, hard to decide. Then I think how it will be a pain to get hold of the Forgeworld Star players, mostly because prices.
Getting closer to the hobby shed goal, it will function as a spray booth/airbrush room and will hold the printers when I eventually get them.

I cleaned today. Took some bitz off of sprues and into my sorting bins for respective armies, added empty sprues to my big bag o' empty sprues (paper grocery bag - just a convenient place to put empty sprues). Sorted armies a little more. Plastic shoebox for Kruleboyz, one for Bonesplittaz, one for Ironjawz, one for foot-grots for my Orcs and Goblins army (GW, seriously, hurry up and release The Old World!). Found some stormvermin I had misplaced, found a box of milliput I didn't remember buying, found some hobby blades. Sorting out my model train/hobby tools as well in preparation for making an On30 shelf layout that will sit on top of the shelves I store my plastic miniatures/hobby shoebox bins in.
