seems mostly a matter of the destroyer getting lucky with staggers given how long Skarbrand just didn't do anything.

Same seems to happen with the saurian actually. Does the destroyer have some hidden protection against getting staggered?

I'm looking forwards to Chorfs, even if I don't really like the faction. Currently playing a SFO campaign, whilst it deepens the game and balance it also means there's just so many systems to keep an eye on and think of at once! Honestly the game does get a bit tedious after a few tens of hours, given that all battles are pretty well just pitched field battles. Shame CA couldn't work out how to make raids/skirmishes etc work as realtime battles.
