Yup, we played here: Also, this is how bridge looks nowadays Edit: Also, right across the bridge is memorial with this beauty:
I was putting tufts on scouts and took pictures of my 1609 points of Isengard, that finished one of my yearly goals.
After my shameful double defeat lass week, I had urge to start British force that sits in boxes since last october. So I checked my big box o´Bolt Action and found bunch of german sprues that I must have completely missed previously. I really don´t want to start working on Brits till my Germans are finished (at least infantry), so... First batch is being worked on. I have about 50 unpainted guys in total. MESBG project is just about 20 minis to be done, so there should be some time for this "little" german closure.
Great feat of hobby dopamine Love that you have started this army and that you have such a high pace painting-wise Side question: I love the army case/box/thing. Where did you get it from? or did you make it your self? Grrr, !mrahil
I always do this. Start something new and get so excited that I basically push out most other projects to the side. This time it was Death Guards and also Descent. Post about box is here. Basically Ikea TJENA box with PVA glued cardboard inserts and magnetic foil on top. That could have been just metal sheet, but about 10 years back I bought too much of magnetic sheet in bulk and trying to get rid of it ever since.
First part of remnants glued. 32 for now. I am left with: one unit of 10 with assault rifles 4 afrika korps bodies for which I don´t have weapons (and greandier hands look weird on them) box of 30 waffen infantry that is somehow already separated into units, but only clipped from sprues. I think I can add germans to list of possible yearly goals as untill now I dodn´t know I need to build this many of them. edit: those on photo and unit of 10 assault rifles are 555 points, if taken as regular troops.
