Your Lizardmen Mordheim warband is epic! I know it sounds like I'm gushing, but you have some great talent and skill.

Amazing Warband!! Very clean painting, I love the colorscheme and the 'rust' effect on the copper parts.

    Great job!!

    .

Thank you so much, that's very kind of you to say :)

Thank you friend, I'm really happy with the colour scheme :)
It was fun to paint something much different to my usual Lizardmen scheme.

you should definitely enter them in our current painting comp... unless you have at hand something even more beautiful. ;)

    Thank you!
These will be my entry this month, I will try and get a nicer picture of them, perhaps with some scenery.

Indeed. Classic models painted with dignity and respect. A worthy paintjob for the Children of the Gods.

Said it before, wish this was the look that they'd stuck with for the lizards: Actual izards rather than dinosaurs being called lizards. :-D

While these have their charm, I still prefer the later models, especially the saurus introduced in the early 2000s. They could have had more detail but they had a great lizardy vibe. New ones are certainly leaning more into dinosaurs, especially with the loss of the forked tongue. Also it might be the furry in me but I prefer the digitigrade legs too :p

Can't argue there, I too prefer them digitigrate. But, interesting detail... lizards in the real world? They're plantigrade. I've observed my bosc often enough that I can't delude myself on that front. :p
