Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - May 2025 This thread is to get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress Grrr, !mrahil
Looking ahead already (one day early ) My goals for May will be: - Paint basing vegetation of 12 Saurus Warriors - Paint all 3 bronze units of the Tower faction from the HoMM3 the Board game - Paint all 2 silver units of the Tower faction from the HoMM3 the Board game - Paint all 2 gold units of the Tower faction from the HoMM3 the Board game - Paint 2 hero models of the Tower faction from the HoMM3 the Board game - Paint the home town model of the Tower faction from the HoMM3 the Board game - Finish my entry for the Feathered Serpent contest - Finish writing my entry for the short story contest - Read, write reviews and vote for the short story contest Let's make it a productive month. This month will be interesting one, as I don't even have couple of models I need to finish. - Assemble and paint US support teams I get my hands on (BA) - Prime and basecoat US halftrack and Stuart (BA) - Assemble another US vehicle (BA) - Paint second Quar transport with crew - Paint all currently printed Quar - At least prime all Fidwog Quar - Paint 12 MESBG Orcs - Paint MESBG Troll - Continue on Taunar
May Goals: Paint the last 10 saurus redcoats Finish painting horses for Empire knights Get started on painting the actual knights to ride those same horses Short, punchy, to the point. Alas, with numbers enough that it comes down to free time and how much of it I have.

First update of the month. After achieving my April goal of rebasing 100 skink skirmishers (ended up being 99 - anyone got a skink with a Javelin floating around?) My focus is on painting Lady Elysse Duchaard. She's the last model for my Bretonnian force that needs painting and i'd like to purchase a Trebuchet. Not allowed until I have a fully painted collection. Once i've done that the goal is to rebase a brick of Saurus and prime all the models i've rebased. So goal for the month is: Paint Lady Ellyse Duchaard Rebase 20 Saurus Prime rebased skinks & saurus (approximately 120 models) If all that gets completed quickly then i'll add Paint Nemesis Claw Kill-Team Paint a Daemon Prince
