Finished up the last 2 statue guys, pretty happy with how they turned out.

 

They look great! Love the sculpts and the paint jobs

I finished the centerpiece model for the guys I'm working on rn, there were a few things I had in my head that I wasn't able to get the way I wanted but im overall pretty happy with how she turned out. She was also the second model I printed that when I was halfway through I realized she was way too big and reprinted it scaled down. Allarielle and the full size model for scale.

 

That's a really cool looking model and an excellent job painting it. It looks very intricate. Was it hard to paint?

 

A few things were difficult, the way it was designed I had to build the dragon around the throne and couldn't really do it as 2 pieces, so there was a fair bit of painting around stuff. And since I scaled it down the metal filigree stuff on the character was less prominent then it would have been but was still raised enough that it wasn't too bad to hit without much over spill.

 

Well worth the effort in the end.

 

When I saw this model I had to buy it even though I dont play scifi games, was a lot of fun but I forgot how orange iyanden yellow was.
