The new Army Painter range of paints.
I want some...

*Checks the date* Ahh, I see.

Though being honest, had the tartan one been real and actually works like intended, I would have a use for one. Kilts in proper tartan would have been something.

But a fitting post from a member of Clan Skryre.

hopefully i'll build some necron lychguard.

It's amazing how necrons are among the friendliest models to paint, and among the worst ones to build.

Working on a warehouse, it's for more complicated than I thought it would be. This is good and bad. Good because I love building things and it's fun. Bad because I'm trying to be smart and prime it before I fully assemble it and that requires me to plan how much a section can be assembled before fully built.

Out of curiosity, for wargaming, model railroading, a diorama, or just because you can?

Wouldn't be out of place in a Batman heroclicks game either ;)
It would fit in perfect. Sadly heroclix is another game I started to get into and then the group I played with got hit with life. I was going with Multiple Man and was learning the rules slowly when we all had things go on and suddenly no one was able to play, some people had to move.

Yeah, that sounds familiar.... the lament of the adult gamer?

It really is! One reason I got into Pulp Alley is that it has a dedicated solo ruleset. My youngest wants to play wargames so much it breaks my heart to say no...until he joins me at the table with one of my friends and proceeds to move every model. Oh and he is obsessed with the model he is using can teleport and fire missiles into my opponents models. It's like Calvinball in mini wargaming. I love it until we have an hour left and multiple turns left. I get that he's six but... Seriously though if it continues it will be amazing in a few years, but for now I only get random games, unless it's a solo game.

He's definitely on the right track, he wants my Wood Elves to crush the invading beastmen. So proud.
On one hand, Parenting: You're doing it right. On the other hand, Kazrak One-Eye wants to have a word with your pointy-eared gits.
