Blog Army of Xlanzec 2.0

So, I have made quite a bit of progress as of late.
I've painted 30 Saurus Warriors, not worth showing off, since they are basically identical to what I have already done, but I have also put a bit of more work into basing on the Jungle Warden and painted 3 of my Wolf Drake models as well as a Saurus character on Cold One and furthermore a Battle Standard Bearer.
I've begun work on the new Kroak model, so hopefully he will join the ranks before too long.

Jungle Warden, now with a bit of work on the base:

Absolutely awesome color scheme, the light skin and dark blue stone work with popping bright blue highlights contrast so well. I'm sure it looks stunning fully ranked up in the table top. Excellent job on the scale/skin texture on the xlanax lot mini, it looks so good! I love your salamanders as well, they look awesome with that color scheme!

Thank you all! :D

Always nice to see a Woogity Saurus on Cold One painted up, I've been eyeing mine recently and wanting to finally get some paint on it.

Yeah, it is a great model, shame you can't get it anymore. Would be awesome if it, and the kroxigors, would be made available through Clay Project. maybe).

After about 3 months of work, here he is - The mighty Lord Kroak

I'm quite pleased with the result :cigar:, at least in terms of overall cleanness of finish I think this might be my best work, it does however subtract a bit that the pieces does not fit as well as they could, had I assembled the model completely, but alas then I could not have painted it like I have, so what can you do.

I continually find that it's hard ti take good pictures of my models, the colors always seem slightly off from when you look at the models in real life, I guess it's the lightning or it could be the camera maybe :snaphappy:

Now I just need to finish his base (like I do with so many others... :shifty:).

Dude that is so impressive :wideyed::wideyed::wideyed:
The amount of highlights is extreme.

Very good paintjob :artist::artist::artist:

Grrr, Imrahil

This job is just amazing! Lord Kroak and the saurus hero you posted on the previous page are just masterpieces!
