Blog Canas' armies

The contrastpaints are brilliant for these. Though they work a bit weirdly if you use a metalic paint as a base.

I like the canon, I finally managed to get the blue of rusting bronze in there, at least a little bit.

And the rhinox looks quite fluffy.
 
And they're quite simple to paint as well. Barely did anything, and the end result is actually a quite realistic wall, which as my girlfriend puts it "is actually interesting to look at even if it's almost monochrome" thanks to the various little details and such.
 
I like the sigil as well, initially screwed up cuz genius that I am I started with the flames. Then started colouring in the eye, and lo and behold the flames got bits of blue on them. Then started putting on a new layer of white to fix em, but it actually gave a nice effect like this. So yay :p
 
yep, the third one is my fav!

...but all 3 of them are truly good. ;)
