yeah I usually rely on the washes for details & shading it it in, so the shading for example under his legs is a mess. Especially since the sabre is relativly smooth, so can't even use the textures to my advantage. Also didn't help that I didn't have the right colours, so it took me 3 tries to find a white that looked warm enough to be fur, and not just plastic or paper.Nice work. I like the color schemes overall and the banding on the frost sabers pelt.
Light colors are tricky. Specially for painters who use a lot of washes/shades in their technique. You could try relayering in a white midtone around the top open portions of the pelt. Such as the shoulders, ribs, and hips. Avoid the hollows between the ribs at the pelvis. Follow it up with some edge highlighting in a brighter white. It would help to clean up the lines of the model.
You're certainly table top legal though.
