Hello hello!
I have been juggling couple other projects alongside with the Lizards. Here's one of them, my first 40k army, Necrons. I have enough models for 2000 point games (I can make working lists of up to 1850 or so), but basically none of them are painted. I really like the models, but I wanted to find a way to be able to paint them reasonably fast. This is where I'm at now.
Immortal / general colour scheme of the army:
Also, now that the Flayed Ones are crazy good, I wanted some of 'em! The problem was that the official models are also crazy expensive! So, I decided to make my own. I took some Necron Warriors, repositioned some joints and made them hunch, added all kinds of crazy weapons that I had left from the kits of my other armies. Then I used green stuff to make the skin of their unfortunately victims that they wear. For the colours, I wanted to make them very different from the rest of the army. They are the infected, after all. I went with green. The idea was to make them seem like poisoned characters from early Final Fantasy and other JRPGs. Plus, I got to splatter Blood for Blood God around for the first time! Anyway, here's the test model:
The bases are not finished yet. I'm going with a snow theme with blue crystals here and there.
Let me know what you think!
