Blog Chicken Lips Warhammer Armies

I kinda actually like the Razordon. He'd look much better than my current GW ones at least. I also think he'd look good next to all of the other L-men monsters.

I very much prefer the GW Razordon over these guys. I've always liked the GW sculpt. This one seems too over the top and the legs are a bit weird.

Lol, yeah, I just got these 16 (30 total), and then noticed where Lost Kingdom Miniatures is coming out with a new Lizardmen line, and they look incredible! I just might have to systematically go about replacing all of these units! Lol!

These look amazing, particularly the calvary. Any news on the release date?

:wideyed::wideyed::wideyed: Wow cool stuff!

I really like how much the source material (Mesoamerican art- Mayan, Aztec, etc) was used in designing these things!

That throne would look better for a Slann I think. I like the tiny Xochicalco-inspired snake heads at the front arms of the throne.

Salamander itself looks very... feathery, almost like it was inspired by a queztal or some other bird? I might look into getting one, but he looked huge!

The Saurus Cav look excellent, waaay more intimidating than the current GW design. But are these supposed to be cold-ones ridden by saurus or horned-ones ridden by skinks?

Cool feathery headdresses too.

If the razordon didn't have the giant forward-facing spikes I think I would like him better, they seem a bit out of place (kinda like GIANT shoulder pauldrons?) and would make it hard for this thing to eat or drink. Can you imagine this thing trying to go eat something off the ground, only for the spikes to prevent it from ever reaching the food with its jaws???

Cool little lizard-ear-piece jewelry though, very in keeping with the theme.

Turtles??? Interesting idea for sure. Maybe like super-defensive kroxigors? (turtlegors?)

While there is a lot going on with this guy, I like his headdress. Super-overdone feathers and stucco-inspired lizard headdress would make any would-be Mayan noble proud.

These guys look interesting too, maybe a bit too 3D computerized? They don't look like actual models at all.

That being said, they take the "mesoamerian" vibe and turn it up to 11. Pretty neat, they would look great as another unit of temple guard I think.

I think they go up on Crowdfunding in two day, if I'm correct.

I have no doubt they'll be totally funded, and this is probably the best price you'll ever find them at.

So how do you actual support crowdfunding? I have never done it before so I don't know how it works, I may be tempted for some of these pretty cool looking projects.

Also just found this one on their website...

Talk about a Lizardmen air force! That Quetzalcoatl beastie looks amazing!

Their chameleon skinks are amazing too, I may have to get the chameleon skink champion dude if it comes available.

That is a Skink's dream!!!!!!!!

Can you point me in the direction of the Chameleon skink info/link?

Also, I am also interested in how Crowdfunding works. I have never been involved in a project like this.

You basically pledge an amount of $ and get rewarded when they go into production, it can be risky but the rewards can be high so never pledge what your not prepared to lose.

Too cool! I haven't even seen those air-force pics! They must've just released those!

I haven't ever used Crowdfunding, so I'm of no help there. So it's different from Kickstarter due to there being no set amount of money they want to raise and no set packages (aka, you pledge this amount, you get this...) It's just some arbitrary amount you say you'll give and then they say, okay you got this for what you've pledged? Is that correct, Crowsfoot?

It depends on what there Crowdfunding is, I though you gave money and then when they make a profit you get it back, or products equal to it, not 100% sure tbh

Hmm. I will have to see how restrictive it is. Like I don't want to pay 150 dollars to get the 3 things I want and then 6 other things I only sort of want. If it is module and you have some choice I will definitely consider it. I WANT THOSE SKINKS. Saurian-Preview-2-Lost-Kingdom-Miniatures.jpg

I agree. How much I give will totally depend on how their set up is done. If I can't see what I'm getting, I probably won't be giving that much. I'll just cherry-pick them afterwards when I can see exactly what I'm getting (if that's how it's done). Even if it costs a bit more.

This may be a stupid question but I want to ask, can we confrim that these pictures are the actual models and not like 3D representation of what they expect the models to look like?

Honestly, I can't tell. Normally, I'd say that they're just the 3D computer drawings, but the fact that they added their reflection on some of the pics is really making me question it. I think that they look just a little too perfect to be real models. The bases are the biggest giveaway for me.
