Time has been a difficult thing for me to come by this month, but I did manage to find a few moments to crank out this Wood Elf BSB.

So, some major progress this weekend...I finished my Thundertusk!!!

I'll show some of the WIP pics first, then the final model.

I started off priming the beast with Rhinox Brown. When on to painting it from there.

After the beastie was mostly painted, I started working on the base. This was the part that took so long. I cut out the portion that I wanted the water to be in and used Green Stuff to seal off any open areas beneath the model and the Bass Wood base I cut out to fit the bottom. I then painted in blue and applied the 2-part epoxy with a little hand sticking out (like some unfortunate fell in the ice. In retrospect, I should have let it stick out even more, because it doesn't show very well at the height it currently is. Oh, well. I'll get it right next time!) I used Crackle Paint for the "ice" on the water, then drybrushed it using Ulthuan Gray. After that, it was painting it up and adding additional pieces.

Nice job, I like how you added the spot colours to draw the eye, maybe put up how you did the base as I'm sure some will want to nick the idea.
