I've toyed with the idea of making a daemon army of tzeentch the last couple days, since my play group of 3 others each have a chaos army or is in the process of making one for each of the other gods.
At some point a conversion idea struck me; I've played some Magic the Gathering and my two favorite characters are Ugin the Spirit Dragon and Nicol Bolas. Now Nicol Bolas made some huge army of eternals, a kind of funky zombie.
The Idea then is to somehow make a Ugin and Bolas, to play them as Lords of Change, and eternals as their army, the thing is that I have never really converted anything and even if I had I doubt it would be easy.
My initial thought was to use the Lord of Change model and swap out his head, neck and tail for the ones from the stardrake for Ugin, and do the same for Bolas but also swap out the wings.
For the eternals I'm not sure, and I guess I should come up with a list, so I have a bit more to go on.
Here are some photos for reference if you are not familiar with MTG:
Ugin:
Bolas:
Eternals:
(Oh and BTW, if some of you haven't seen the trailer for the set, here it is; It's really quite nice I think)
I guess another option is to start to learn Blender and model what I need and just print it somewhere.
Is it a silly idea?
Is it at all feasible?
