8th Ed. Custom 6s Dice Ordering Pledges!!!

Orders are closed. The final totals have been sent to Chessex for a quote. Once that comes back Ill send him the paypal and then we sit and wait. Once I get an ETA on the dice Ill update here to keep you all informed. But if I had to guess it will be about 10 weeks before it gets to MY door. Putting delivery in Febuary (yuck). But we will see what he says in his return email :)
 
So best to just forget about the dice for now and be really suprised when they show up next year :)

Should be just in time for my friend's new map campaign (assuming he gets enough players lined up by then).
 
Chessex has been paid and they say production should take 6-8 weeks and that I should have the dice in MY hands by mid January... From past experience please take that with a grain of salt :) I am HOPING to have dice to all of you by Feb!!!

I posted in the original thread but haven't been to the site in a while. New job been keeping me busy. Damn shame I'm too late to order them. Is it possible to get on a wait list for any extra dice that were ordered or for a second order in the future?
 
You could just order them yourself. The main reason we did a big order was to cut down on the cost, right?
 
Yeah, I can just order them myself, but the discount price would have been nice.
 
While we are waiting for the dice, expect to see a PM from me shortly to confirm your address. I will send you what I have and you can reply back YES or reply back with what you would like me to have.

Im doing this because some of the overseas addresses get confusing with the extra numbers and such, and Id rather pay $18 once when shipping the first time and it get there OK. This way we can work out any kinks and such before such an error occurs.

I dont have them yet... and have not received any updates from Chessex... :( Ill try sending them an email to get some info, but from past experience the response will be pretty vague...
 
Okay :( I'm just being impatient, I wanna hold them so bad.
 
hahaha, I was going to post the same thing. I think we're just going to have to hold out until Feb/Mar. :rage:
 
Hey all. I was in the process of sending a "where is my dice" email when I noticed the date of the order was Dec 4, 2012 which is about 5 weeks ago. The ETA from Chessex at that time was 6-8 weeks, even though the email says "You should expect them to arrive to you by the second week of January by my best estimate." Ill give it until next week then shoot off the email.

On a side note, in past experience the vague answers are usually given like "the dice are still in processing, yada yada.." then the dice arrive shortly after.... Basically stating that Chessex does a good job of producing dice, but a very poor job of keeping track of the project and updating its customers. Ill stay in touch :)
 
Thanks for keeping after them. Follow up calls...no glory but important...like separating the recyclables...
