Hi guys,

I’m new here (pretty sure this is in the right place)

Anyway, thought I’d get stuck right in and show off a few models - bare with me as I’m currently moving house across the country, so most of my stuff is boxed up in storage (I’m terrified as to what state I’ll find my models in when I get them back)!!!

But I have a few pics on my phone of last years works (mostly random pieces that I just fancied having a go at - there is some 40k in there and members of many other armies - but I’ll try and stick to the lizard theme)

Anyway, I’ll add as I go - enjoy, all comments good and bad welcome (I like criticism as it helps perfect custom models)

First up I fancied a go at making some Deepkin bases - a little more sea like - as I found the models interesting but a little bland, so here they are;

Thank you very much I like modelling Skaven (fir is nice n easy to make and looks great)

I intend to green stuff myself 5more chameleons and have them painted by the end of the night (won’t be able to sleep so why not lol)

Well i regret saying I’d do them in a night (my eyes are burning) but I did it...though forgot to take a pic before painting...but I’m pretty sure people can tell which bits have been doctored (from a regular skunk Mindel)

I was going to go crazier with the colours (blending from one to another and patterns) but I simply couldn’t be bothered and went for an easy single toned colour instead.

Yeah I prefer darker and more subtle colouring

I only managed an hours painting as I had to go out lol, had another hour this morning but now off to work :/

I’ll finish him tomorrow when I finish at 2!

I changed my mind on the colour - went for a reddy brown as my skinks are green - and would be too muted against him. Still haven’t picked a gem colour

This is what I managed to do in roughly 2hours.
(Plus the extra bits that go on top of him - that will go on once completed) just highlighting to go now really then his base and I’m good and done.
