That is sound advice!I know that gritty primers suck, but it actually looks very cool, looks rusty and weathered. If you want to avoid it I can only advise to shake the can for 2 minutes minimum, and spray in temperatures from 15-25º, other wise the paint could freeze/dry before reaching the model, making it look patchy, or doing so while it´s drying. Also, prime in a dry environment/area; if it´s moist the same will happen
I have only had that problem twice, and it was with the purity seal spray (garbage, it´s good they removed it) and with the old white primer (talking about GW). If you follow the instructions carefully nothing should happen in my experience.
