The green marble effect is:
  • Basecoat with GW Incubi Darkness.
  • Paint on vein like patterns and edge highlight with Vallejo Scurvy Green.
  • Paint a thinner line within the veins with Vallejo Jade Green, also do a thinner edge highlight with this.
  • Paint and even thinner line in the veins and edge highlight toward the tips and corners with Vallejo Foul Green.
  • Paint tiny areas in the veins and dot highlight the very tips and corners with Army Painter Toxic Mist.
I tend to paint the vein patterns in quite a rough, sketch like way to make them look more random and realistic. Obviously all the specific paints I used could be substituted for similar ones, or just take one Jade Green like colour and add black or white for the darker and lighter colours.

The curved flight stands are the standard ones that come with Star Wars Legion models, with 2 different heights.
 
Dude, a lot of Exlpoding goodness to go through since my last visit to your blog.

I love the Salamander and Handlers. The bases are solid as always, for me the tree with burning embers is the highlight of them.

Nice droids and amazing work on the Echoo, Fives and Darth Maul... outstanding details, weathering and OSL :artist::artist::artist:
