I remember you! From the eavy metal group!

Well gotta give you honest credit, you made one of the UGLIEST kids ever produced into something DASHY and INTERESTING to look at. Like a Dinosaur from the JP Chaos Effect toyline, which I liked a lot.
I have seen other dread saurians but so far they all have looked fugly, just like the kit.

I am certain that the Contest will highly benefit from having both of your entries. It will make it something aspirational and insitee other artist fof next year

    Lolololol There is another pe
Looks like I will change my entry now since there are 3 possible models that I have to choose from.
One of them has already been revealed, the other two require a bit more labour and one of them belongs to a friend
"was thinking on painting it for him due to his bday and stuff"

I am now 100% finished on my open and conversion competitions.

However, I am still very behind on my lizardman one. I am really liking this one so I really hope to be able to finish it online.

My painting is so terrible and that's not even me being pessimistic or modest it's just not gone well for me :p to the extent that I'm not even going to consider painting my own army - my conversion I like though :) i'll stick to buying models I think and admiring them till I can commission them to be painted :p

Don't give up on painting, it takes time but the best thing you can do is start simple, base, wash, highlight this will give you a good looking army and confidence and if that still does not work send me your minis I can paint a few for you np.

I did an awesome Radagast when I was younger - I don't know what happened - maybe I need finer brushes I'm using ones from a watercolour set I don't think it helps. if I'm going to paint ill probably go along somewhere and sit down with people who know what they are doing to watch and learn

Think I'm gonna do a model for the open category. It's not a winner, more of a 'why not?' thing.

So. Now I'm definitely taking part in the lizardmen category ! Entry has been sent to Entry. ;)

Conversion will be next I guess and maybe I will finish my open entry in time...;)

@SlanntaClause don't give up so early! Buy some better brushes (those for1,50£ in an artist shop) paint on! Then submit and entry win a paint set and start painting for the next competition! ;)

Holy cow Batman, watercolour set brushes! BAM, WHACK, KER-POW, get decent brushes now!

Windsor and Newton Series 7 are THE brush in my eyes, expensive but you get what you pay for.
GW are ok and a million times better than watercolour set brushes!

Size 00,1,3 will do you, use a GW base brush for basing and use your watercolour set for washes etc.
