I mean this looks amazing already. You have some really fantastic painting skills.

If you don't paint commissions you're missing out on a trick.

I appreciate that a lot! I think if I did commissions it would ruin the hobby for me tho, plus I don't like deadlines

I understand that perfectly. Although, I have experienced that I am more inspired to do painting when there is a competition on or something where I have a target date to complete.

Probably a nice middle-ground there somewhere.

Finished the gold, painted all the purple gems, did the eyes, changed the color of the skin, and started on the scepters! Basically, I just have to finish the scepters and...he's done?? I want to try painting the bluish stone as a labradorite, we'll see how that goes!

I can't believe it but he's basically done! I have some touch up work to do, and now that he's sitting in the palanquin I want to add some occlusion shadows, but the painting is just about finished. I'm hoping to start in the base this weekend.

When your 100% finished, this guy should get submitted into some sort of contest. Honestly, I think it is the best Lord Kroak ever painted.

Also is his snake/staff holding a Pokeball in it's mouth?

I agree, the paint job on Kroak is phenomenal!! The metals and gems are incredible and I love the colors you've used, they're so vibrant. Until now I never realized how much exposed skin Kroak actually has.
