I've seen a lot of great armies and pieces on this site since I joined but I have to say that yours are my favorite. Incredible! Congrats for the win you very much deserve it!

I am not a person to point fingers at GW and say "EVIL!!!!" as i also run a company i can understand they need to turn a profit if they will keep expanding which i am happy for them. but today they pissed me off a bit. i got a email from the editor and chief of White dwarf saying that they cannot put any photos of my armys unless i remove a few none GW peaces. which REALLY pissed me off, i mean the peaces they refurd to are the Greek helmets of statues that are laying on the ground.

That just really pissed me off. and i felt i needed to rage a bit sorry.

Aside from stating the obvious (ie. that they're bastards, with no love for their customers), I'll try and be constructive, because I know you totally converted those greek helmets using GW pieces and some hand sculpting. Right? Can you just tell them that?

i tryed to tell the editor that, then he showed me a box of the very peaces that he has just bought...

HAHA i was made to look like a bit of a ass-hat xD

i just hope they dont notice the few other peaces which would be MUCH harder to photoshop out xD

Being a sales rep myself one thing I don't get is how they cannot overlook a few pieces considering how much money you put into their pockets to put this together. Not to mention the PR work you have done for THEM by building this and it will only help them further by having it in White Dwarf. I've found in the world of sales that if you hold too many restrictions your customers will lose faith in you and your product which results in a drop of sales and PR.

YA, i mean i understand where they are coming from but they just take it to far. i mean at this moment im currently working on my Tau army which incorperates 7 forgworld battlesuits which are hyper converted with normal battle suits aswell. and i found some awsome Katanas that are to scale with them and im useing them. what pisses me off is thinking i spend 95% of my money at GW then 5% somewhere els for a nice finishing touch and they go ape shit about it.

like on the temple ARE THEY GOING TO FORCE ME TO PHOTOSHOP OUT THE BRICKS TO? becouse thoes i bought from a doll house company. or what about the paint that i used on the blood from the heart?! becouse thats not GW paint... i feel they just take the leter way to far.

if i was useing none GW models in my army sure i understand, and i spesificly removed my Avatars of War Sarus champions for that reason. but random shit i throw around the base of the army to make it look cooler?

and this raises another question. in my next armys on parade, its a post apocalyptic overgrown city my Tau just deepstriked into. does this mean i cannot use model train lamp posts? and model train trees? which are MUCH better quality then GW ones... grrr i just feel they go way to far just to piss people off.

what pisses me off is they bitch about this, but remember the lizardmen scene that has the MASSIVE dinosuare with all the army riding on its back??? ya... that dinosaur is from star wars... but they post it ALL OVER there website, but oh no i have some smashed Greek helmets hidden in the rubble in my scene and THATS brakeing the rules....

i started purchasing white dwarf only about 6 months ago so i haven't seen this in the magazine. But if they publish this I don't see how they can't publish yours. Thats BS!

Well its finally done! they excepted all the phones as long as i removed the statue heads, (lucky they dident see the 45 other none GW bitz xD

So how the voting will work apparently is each GW store in Spain will put all the 15 finalists images on there facebook and then at the end of today they will add up all the likes each one got.

*this is a stupid system seeing as my vote counts for 15, as i will like my armys on each GW page.*

I have linked all of the GW stores FB pages in spain. i would really be greatfull people liking my armys as you have all seen i have dedicated almost a year to making this and would love that epic "Armys on Parade" trophy xD

well this is a odd situation...

becouse its facebook likes the competition is really a popularity contest of who has more frends... and it turned out with hilarus results. so here is me.



I won Second place...

now do you want to know who the grand champion of all of Spain is? for THE BEST armys on parade for the hole country!?!?!?!?



Apparently i did not play dirty enough i was meant to spam it all over my facebook wall and spam everyone i knew even if they did not play warhammer for a like 0.o...

I was talking with the manager of my local store and the editor of the magazine and they said this is a fucking joke, they cannot put that in the white dwarf... so im not sure what the final result will be.

There is some talk of not counting any of the facebook votes and only counting the votes made instore, which i was asking my frends who work at other stores and i would have won BY FAR. so... we will see the final result. honestly i dont care about beeing in the white dwarf or the interview or anything. i just really want the fucking trophy it looks epic, and then i can put the armys on display with the reginal gold and then the best of Spain... but we will see hopfully someone along the line will say "voting via facebook likes was a bad idea"


p.s. i did not just loss by a few votes. i lost by over 340 likes xD i checked the winners facebook page he has over 2k friends and was spamming the fuck out of them haha!
