New old world update with teases of plastic bits for tomb kings and bretonnians.
I don't need to tell you that if tomb kings actually become purchasable again that I'm going to be w beggar.

Like, sure, the primaris are powerfull and have a bunch of nice shiny toys, and they liberate the occasional planet.
The more things change in 40k, the more they stay the same.-snip-
Honestly, the only reason the plot needs to be advanced is to have an excuse for new models, and even then most armies can get away with "this army is a bit special/has access to a special weapon/has a massive armory of old tech laying around, so they have an new unit now"The more things change in 40k, the more they stay the same.
Realistically, there's so much of the game setting that constantly remains unexplored to the point where GW could just do away with "advancing the plot" and instead shift the focus of the game to a different region altogether for the new plot.
With all the slaves thrown in there as well, you've got the potential for a truly grand army. Less than a month until release, so the news and updates on the full roster can't be far off.Good to see appearances of digitised versions of both classic 4th Edition models and the later Forge World ones, with GW trying to tie the two together. The two separate ranges made much smaller lists than other armies at the time they were released, but putting them together makes a much more comprehensive Dawi-Zharr army list.
I'm happy that both made an appearance. Obviously the Legion of Azgorh are lacking in special characters (other than Drazhoath), so the old school characters were brought in.Good to see appearances of digitised versions of both classic 4th Edition models and the later Forge World ones, with GW trying to tie the two together.

My love of the Chaos Dwarfs is centered on the Forge World range so I'm extremely happy that the Legion of Azgorh range seems very well represented.

And the grand daddy of them all, our very own Warhammer close combat tournament winner...
K'DAAI DESTROYER!
I do remember that old model. I'm glad it was updated to better fit alongside the Forge World aesthetic.Funnily enough the Lammasu was actually one of the units from the old 4th Edition Dawi-Zharr range:

But GW did bring it back for Storm of Magic in 8th Edition, along with the Great Taurus:

So I'll give you a half-pass for that one![]()
It's pretty badass. Definitely a good representation of our CC tournament grand champion. It looks like it could level cities!that trailer is full of win.
And i must say they did an amazing work on the Destroyer
Confirmed!I really hope that CA port over and include the Hellcannon in the Chaos Dwarf roster. The Hellcannon crew was the very first thing that sparked my interest in Chaos Dwarfs!
You know, the real shame of all this is that my potato bug of a computer can't even come close to running this game.![]()
