Ugh the temple guard Picures still came out ugly,
I swear it doesn't look that bad in real life.
I might re-redo them. this time with overhead or natural light,
Oh and Old Mosey,
the waterfall is made from clear Silicone calk,
I squirited out a bunch on some plastic wrap,
folded the plastic in half and scrunched it mostly flat,
then I tried to make some water texture in it by squshing it around,
then I draped it over a bottle to give it some curve when it dried.
I let it dry for about a day, then poped it out and trimed it up to
shape with a pair of scisiors. After doing a bit of experimenting I found that
caulk realy only stick to more calk, so I used more calk to glue it down.
finaly I mixed up some more with a bit of white paint, to great the white foam.
and then applyed it with a popsicle stick, since I didn't want to ruin a brush.
The columns are carved bits of wood (those took a while)
the rest is made of white styrofoam covered with a protective layer of spackle.
the rest of it uses the same constructions as my other river sections.

The pictures don't seem to be doing them justice. I can see some great blending around the mouths, and the shields look fantastic. with good lighting, I am sure they look fantastic. I know every time I take pictures it's an exercise in frustration...often leading to cursing of the magic digital box.

Cool stuff. Looks like you used some regular warriors and put temple guard heads on them?
I can't figure out what you used for the halberd blades. They look good. How did you do it?

Ah yes. I was confused by the halberd head. I seem to recall them being different than that, but maybe I'm thinking back to the 5th Ed. metal TG models.

Excellent work, that waterfall is just stellar! I would love to play on a table top with your terrain, even if it meant being massacred!

@Dyvim Tvar - yea the 5th edition temple guard where sorta similar.
@T`hinker`er -Thanks man i'm glad you like it, I got about 3 more of those river sections to go.
I have been checking Photobuckets FAQ and it appers that I get my Bandwidth back on friday or saturday.
When I do I'll upload some Pics of the other Temple Guard I've finished.

Very nice! I especially like the "traffic-light" feathers on the banner, gives such a nice spot of colour to the whole unit!
