Hey guys, it’s been awhile, but I could use a little advice. I’m back on my nonsense again but can’t decide if I actually want to paint the new (and fresh off the beach) sand base I’ve started using. On the right is a sample of my old basing painted up the left is my new sand. I like the mix of particles on the real sand but think it feels a little thin and maybe too realistic for the colorful models.

I tend to opt for painting over most basing materials to tie them in better with the model. I paint over real sticks and rocks as well as sand.

Great work @Bandicoot!!! I particularly like the patterns on the Terradons wings.
