Icebloods... My Lizardmen PLOG

Thanks Arli! I wanted simple, and I kept it that way! :)

Favored - COs should be here next week for me to work on. I have some ideas floating in my head, but it will have to wait till I get some putty on some lizards!

Close ups of the Steggy. Attached the crew and did the shields on the steggy's howdah. Not totally complete, but a start!

I puttied on the flame sac under his throat and added some scales after removing the Dark Elf bits. Total work time on this was about 5.5 hours. If it isn't obvious, this is a Salamander pack unit. Hope you like, what do you think of the striping? I think it fits for a predator-type creature! :D
 
Great job on the Salamander conversion! I think the stripes are spot on, they create variety to the model and also tie it together with the rest of your army. I also like the way you cut the spear into a dagger with one of the handlers, I was planning on doing the same on some of my Skinks and now I can see it looks really good.
 
Those look awesome! I have heard of using regular cold ones, but those look much better than the standard cold ones.
 
Thanks you two! I was a little scared about the stripes, but no guts no glory right? Ya, I hate the current LM cold ones, they look so doofy. I have 2 more to do, but my list doesn't need another one till 2k, and doesn't need a third till 2400. So time to work on a Scar Vet Bsb. Thanks again!

Glad you like. Finished cleaning and filing he next team. Going to do some minor changes to mark this one out as a male. Keep your eyes open, won't be too crazy, but should be a decent bit of work!

I have the following to do:

36-40 Saurus with spears
a third Slamander pack with extra snack
4-5 Terradons
3 Kroxis(thinking of adding 3 more to make a unit of 6)
12 Skink Cohorts to buff the unit of Skrox I have, or to be another unit of 10 skirmishers
Carnosaur with Old Blood
Probably 2 Scar Vets(1 a BSB)

Sigh... It never ends!
