Icebloods... My Lizardmen PLOG

I have a picture showing what colors I used. The paints are actually put away at this time. It is actually an assortment of manufacturers; Vallejo, GW, and some others. I know I have been saying I will, but I am working on a tutorial(got the pics taken) for a step by step of a salamander team I did. I will try my best to get that thing done as soon as time permits(wife, kids, work, etc...).

Glad to see you join the boards!!! Hope to see some of your own work on here as well!!! :P

I am exhausted as a whole. Going to take a break the rest of this week and see what I can do the weekend before I travel home.

I go on leave Dec 6th all the way to the 4th of Jan. When I get back I start a class(military, so all day) that last from Jan 9 to Feb 13th I think. So I will be a little absent from here. They say the class has tons of homework... Fun, fun...

Anyway, enjoy, I may do a couple updates between now and then when I get some free time!

BTW, I will take a few pics of the army as a whole this Friday(my last game night for a few months!!!).
 
Great work, as always. I saw on someone else's plog (Dancing with Saurus's, here) that they made some random scale patches on their saurus a different colour. Thought it might work well for you, maybe, with your limited palette.
 
It may, I can just do various shades of the somber grey perhaps, since it looks so white now.

Glad you guys like them! Can't wait to throw them on the field this coming weekend!!!
 
Dude this is awesome stuff, I think when I'm done with my orange lizards, I will start a city of ash army. If I don't change to beastmen.
 
Sorry no more Icebloods until I come back from vacation. I am in Texas right now on leave spending time with the family.

When I get back in January you may see a lot more!!!
 
mmm, understandable. Must be hard trying to channel a frozen landscape to paint when you're in texas.

I really like the color scheme, nice and subtle. Though I can't help myself but I have to mention that as we all know reptiles are poikilotherm and thus I think Lizardmen too. Hence fighting in snow would probably be very disadvantageous for them :) Never mind ...

lizardmen fighting in snow means they are hardenend due battle and war
making them caus fear! xD

Sorry, going thru a touch school right now, so no new work on the Lizzies. I am however working on some Nurgle stuff for 40k(Marines).

I will try to do a battle rep this coming weekend!

Epic army man i really like it alot i actually was playing around with something slimier when i first restarted my lizardmen army. but nothing as cool as what you pulled off.
