I like it a great deal, Gary. Very nice model. If you want to add more to the shield you still can too. That's the beauty of painting miniature armies. You can always touch up more later.

Hehehe I signed up just to post in this thread. (somthing about starting a new army in the new year and posting on a new forum makes my OCD giggle with glee.)

Not much left of the month so i wont plege much, I PLEGE TO FINISH MY FIRST SIX SAURUS.
(I need this kind of encouragement to stay on track otherwise I'll be off looking at the next shiny thing...oooh beastmen I have a cool idea....)

Its about personal achievement really.. I'm not going to get mine finished now. I have made a start on my painting guide with a couple of paragraphs and an index, and got Chakax basecoated, but now I have pneumonia and it doesn't look like going away before the end of the month.

It seems my inability to focus on one thing for too long has, once again, reared up and bit my plans in the booty. I have begun to make minor conversions on just about everything, so now I have waiting to be painted, 10 temple guard (very few conversions), 14 Cold One Saurus (two with minor conversions, standard bearers), two converted scar vets on cold ones, four terradons, and a slann.
Now that my hours at work have also increased it is unlikely I will get anything further down the road of completion.

Your guess is as good as mine. And its the middle of summer, we've just come off a heat wave. Not only that, this is the second time I've had it...

Got some pictures done and thought I should get them up before I start packing for Kiwiburn (NZ fire/dancing festival ala burningman, have to go to put up the tent and keep the girlfriend happy...somhow don't think she would be as supportive if I was going to a 3 day warhammer event. )
