For the first time in my painting career I have hit a nasty wall. The wall is the shape of 10 blood warriors. I hate this unit. I hate the model and I hate how much time i've wasted on the paint job.
I've spent hours and hours on this one squad and overtime I've just made them worst. I had a terrible plan for painting them and i've made a million mistakes. It sounds dramatic but it makes me never want to paint a Blades of Khorne model again.
Has anyone else experienced total failure painting a unit? I think the best thing for me to do is to shelf these guys and get them out of my sight...
I boxed them up pulled out some Lizards. I already feel better about things. When I think about how much time I wasted on that unit it is frustrating, but it taught me I really don't like painting that type of a model. I much prefer painting organic things. Not sure what I'm going to do with my BoK army now haha.
I'm such a slow painter, but the squad is getting there, still a lot to do. The skin was a failure but I learned a lot and can always apply some more blood if I don't like it.

Also these bad boys are always lurking on my desk and someday I'll finish this batch of 40
