Why do you like rocket so much

 

Because he is the funniest character in what is already a super funny set of movies. I knew nothing about even his existence prior to the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but the character has completely won me over.

 

But what about Groot?

 

Groot is good too... but Rocket is the funniest character. It is usually Rocket who makes Groot funny.

Groot relies on other characters to make him funny. It is typically the reaction that others have to him that creates the comedic element. Rocket is hilarious on his own or in a group.

I'm not familiar with the character, I've never seen the program.

 

Film - it was a funny Dreamworks film released in 2006. You should watch it - I think it's pretty funny and well-acted.
