Let's Get Motivated - January 2022

Another goal done:

- Continue and finish painting 2 Easterling Kataphracts
- Paint Easterling Warpriest
- Paint 2 horses for the Rivendell army
- Start developing new Gondor Scenery
- Write and enter a story in the short-story competition.

Completed a goal of which I wasn't sure I would do so:

Finished all my saurus on my blood bowl team and started to worked in the coach. But he is a goal for next month.

 

That concludes the first goal in the list, and the total of my goals for this month:

- Continue and finish painting 2 Easterling Kataphracts (Second one)
- Paint Easterling Warpriest
- Paint 2 horses for the Rivendell army
- Start developing new Gondor Scenery
- Write and enter a story in the short-story competition.

Additionally to this I had a game night with my brother and a second one is planned for tonight

I think I have my brother hooked as well. As mentioned before we are working out a custom scenario that he came up with

I'm not sure about getting her finished, but I hope to be well on my way painting Zar before the end of the month

 

Glued some more of my Fireborn together and onto bases.

Then realized I don't have enough Monstrous Infantry bases...

Doh!

 

My goals for January were:

• Paint my Republic Specialists - DONE
• Paint my Separatist Specialists - DONE
• Make as much progress as possible on 10 more Temple Guard - PARTIAL

I have almost finished champion, standard bearer and musician for my temple guard. I don't know why painting these destroys my motivation and takes me so long per model. Every time I remember that I still have another 27 to paint I want to cry.

 

You could say you have done this goal as well, because "make as much progress as possible..." can never be failed

I know that feeling, for me it was Saurus Knights. It helped me to pick 2 of them each month. This made me feel good to complete my goal for the month and keep motivated to do another 2 the month thereafter (but then my painting standard doesn't nearly matches yours )

That was a hard month...

Lack of staff at work from Covid and other health issues put my evening painting back a bit (too tired ratty need sleeps)
But i'm glad I finally got something done for the Soulbound.
I'll eventually put some pics up on blog soon.

 

Ok a late responce because I've been quite busy recently, but I think I managed to pull through mostly.
The skinks are basically done to table top standard, they need some touch-p's, eyes and bases.
I started one of my nighthaunt's, I Decided on a color scheme for them.
I also started a blog that hopefully I can update often.
I'll probably skip this month but I should be done with the models im currently working on

 

I'm back for the month end report, everything went as planned. The assembly is done and the painting is well on the way.
