Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - September 2022

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

I'll try it for the first time. :)

-finish ork killteam (9 models)
-finish second salamander
-paint salamander handlers (6 models)
-finish crew for bastiladon (2 models)
-finish engine of the gods (3 platform subassemblies and 4 models)
-finish unit of guards (5 models)
 
My goals for this month:

  • Finish painting my Super Tactical Droid.
  • Build C3P0 and maybe some other models.
  • Get some practice with my newly acquired airbrush.
  • Play a game of 8th Edition and maybe some Star wars Legion.
  • Make progress painting at least one more project.
 
I'll give this a shot! My goals will be:

-Finish painting Astrolith Bearer kitbash pair
-Finish painting Sunblood kitbash
-Start painting one of the Stegodons
-Start converting one of the Slann Mage Priests
-Acquire some blank round bases to start basing/re-basing the old army

I'm worried it might be a lot, but I've already started painting one of the Astrolith Bearers! Will work some more on them tomorrow afternoon!
 
My goal this month are:

  • Paint the piece of terrain that I made last month
  • Finish converting the remaining 4 Saurus so that I have my first half of the unit done
  • Finish sculpting on the last remaining Saurus heads
  • Get materials for next month's project
 
Darn, is it half of the month already? I feel like I bite more than I can chew. :)

Started on EOTG and I have my guard models prepared for painting at the office. Unfortunately, I had to take home office again, as both kiddo and better half are coughing their lungs out. Even at peak performance, I´ll be happy if I manage to finish at least those.

Well... It is safe to say that this is my "end of month" progress. I really took more than I was prepared for. I'd like to take some of it to next month and archive some of it for future Sleepy as there are some non-lizardmen models I really should finish finally (looking at you, whole army of german vehicles).
