If it's not too late, or too boring I'd like to enter a unit of bog standard Saurus, I just need to get them painted.

Ugh, not happy with my progress >.<...

I think the contest runs until August 12 or so. Plenty of time to get your painting done.

There is no problem at all kidpineapple. Make sure you take a picture of your assembled, primed or unprimed miniatures before starting to paint them. Then you post the picture in this thread and make sure you read the 1st post for the contest rules. After that, count yourself in :D.

Sloblocks, I've already started on them, looks like I'll have to wait on the next challenge.

Ok so i finisher another 10 ghouls, took à couple of hours :)
The problem is that i used a slightly different sheme and did the bases different as well, so I'm thinking of only participate with only 10 ghouls again xD
Perhaps I can take picture on both units and post them?
Othervise I'll either put them together or only use 10 of them.

@1968yearofmetall: You can only enter one unit. Chose the one you like the most. If you can't decide, I can help :D.

Ok I think I've already made up My mind...
But atm I'm not at home, but when I come back I'll take some nice pics and send them to strewart.

Good luck everyone ;)

If it isn't too late to enter I would like to paint these 4 kroxigor. Fresh from the simple green and all primed up.

Hey all, I have updated the first post with details about who is entering, what they are entering, and who has submitted unpainted pics so far. Please check this and make sure it is correct, and for those who haven't submitted unpainted pics or posted what they will be painting, please get on it now!

The competition is still definitely open for people to join, at this stage though all unpainted pics must be submitted with a piece of paper in the photo showing the date the photo was taken. All complete entries must be in by Friday August 12th, I will make the deadline midnight friday GMT time.

To submit a completed entry, please send clear photos to me via email, and make sure you put in the subject of the email LUSTRIA PAINTING COMPETITION. This is important because I get loads of emails and may miss one or two. If you do not get an email back from me acknowledging your entry within 24 hours, PM me on here to make sure I have it.

My email is steven_sydney18 at hot mail.com (remove spaces and change at to @).

Remember, photo quality is very important, so take your time with that and if need be look up how to do it well. You can submit 2 photos if you want to.

What do you think my chances are of finishing a temple guard unit in the given time frame?

No harm in trying!

Two more entrants added to the list.

Better late than never! I decided to try and enter late. Its only 6 lil guys, so should definitely be doable.

They will be mounted on scenic bases when they are done (not included in the picture). Good luck and lots of fun to all contestants!

I was wondering, would I be able to change my entry? I tried out my horsemen unit and I don't think ill be using it alot in the future. I do have a unit of 20 Tomb Guard ready to be assembled and painted...

Yeah you can change. Remember to post a new 'before' shot with the current date visible though.

I feel a bit late to the party but I've been way too busy to even touch my miniatures the past couple of weeks. I'll try and get these spider riders painted up for the comp, they wont look pretty as I'll try and speed paint them when I have a free afternoon or two, but better something than nothing!

Ready to be primed, I'll cut the riders off their sprue and glue them together after they're painted...
