I love the Blue on both the Bird and the powerwings. The purple ties the Bird nicely in with the Knight.

Thanks. I find it helps alot with motivation to log everything you paint. My goal is to not leave an empty month. I started to log everything 2018 and only had one month I didnt paint anything.

I recently found out about Pile of Potential. Its a really handy tool where you can log the models you have and in which state of completion they are in. I like it.

I've loged most of my AoS minis so far, Here is what my pile looks like:

Should I paint the beards orange on all of them like GW? Or paint them in a bunch of different natural hair colours?

I think you should paint the beards various natural colors. Maybe you could add touches of orange on the models to tie in with the GW images?

Good idea, maybe paint the plumes orange. Or perhaps the armbands and shields.

I personally think it is weird that the GW ones have both orange beard and plumes. To much orange...

I agree with @Imrahil, too much orange on the GW ones. It was fine when slayers woukd just be one or 2 units in a dwarf army but having the whole army be all orange isn't great to me, especially when there's tons of similar colours in all their fire bases stuff too.

I think orange beards with turquoise/teal/jade plumes would look good
