Cheers. Not really concerned. Building them as a generic fire warrior squad then using leftover bits to see where I can get with the bits box.

Bizarrely, you get 3 extra pairs of tau legs in this box of 10.

Then have a blast, they are nice models to build and joy to paint if you choose any scheme apart from white one :D

If you have oyumaru (blue stuff), you could make three more bodies with greenstuff as they are really simple parts.

I never paint solid white if I can help it. That's just asking for trouble.

I prefer vibrant colors. I'm thinking orange.
 
Today's decisions/musings:

I need paint scheme themes to keep me organized with sci Fi and fantasy projects. Historicals are easier to manage due to..well, extant historical information.

I trialed this over the last two years with my undead, where I have used green as an overarching main color.

So I'm doing something similar now:

1. Undead: Green must be a major color

2. Imperial: blues and creams if possible. Imperial guard are an exception as they can literally be anything. But I will try to push blues and creams into those schemes.

3. Fantasy humans/guild myrmidian: yellow and red.

4. Stormcast will always be silver and purple.
 
There's potentially going to be a jump in Aztec content.

I received an order of bits from a colleague, and although there were issues with the order there are plenty enough to get started with.
 
Part of my Army of Tenochtitlan project.

5th rank warrior priest on left, Otomi warrior order on right. In glorious HIPS plastic, with light-weight 3d printed resin war banners.

Previous to Wargames Atlantic, your only options for portraying these warrior sub-groups were in pewter and often the sculpts were rather chunky.

I had the back banners printed by a colleague as my machines are busy with customer orders. The details on these sculpts are fantastic.

So I participated in the 9th age holiday gift exchange.

These will be on the project desk as the first things I am painting in the new year. In fact I think they are going to be my first update on my very first painting League project log which will be in the new year as well.
