Blog My Warhammer World Avatar and Her Strange Friends

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been feeling a bit odd so I haven't actually done anything Warhammer related. I am planning a project soon though (my birthday's coming up soon, so I might be getting some birthday spending money), and I need a bit of advice. I was thinking of making a model of Ankhachic'qo, but I'm not quite sure what parts to use. I was thinking of using Kroq-Gar as a base and then looking for a fire-shaped sword, but that's rather pricey, and I don't know of a suitable sword. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is a flaming sword in the Empire bits.

I have a massive flaming sword from a balrog kit what scale do you want? - also someone sold me a Saurus with a flaming sword greenstuffed on it was a bit chipped but if you use greenstuff you could make ur own flames?

Ooh, which Empire kit is it? The Balrog sword's a bit big for a Saurus, isn't it? I'm not brilliant with greenstuff.

Urhm it's about the same length as a Saurus but could look pretty bad ass if done correctly

Had a look at both pieces, the Balrog sword is more what I was thinking of, and because it is so large, it doesn't matter quite so much if I mess it up. Might have to find a fancier hilt for it. Possibly. Well, I just have to hope Kroq-Gar comes back in stock on bitsandkits.

If you need mine I can cut it off but we'd have to arrange postage also it needs some depainting :P but otherwise you might find one online cheaper

Oh wow that's a good idea will have to use it if I can get my hands of that bit

Haha Smaug was a super expensive model impressive you got one

I had afew 100 pounds worth of lotr figures but i'm converting them into a different game I play with my brother and his son (my nephew) so its a sacrifice I have to make :P

After a bit of a hiatus (mum lost the camera), I'm finally back. I have three figures to share with you tonight. There's my unnamed Old-blood/Scar-veteran, Kroq-Gar and Grymloq, and Lord Tenchi-ota, the Feather-priest of Mixcoatl.
