@Warden Thanks!

@Aginor Well I agree there, feels like I could of done more with them. They look 'too pampered' there is some where the bolts have been trimmed but I missed a few. I'm proud of the colours, mostly abaddon black with skavenblight dinge and russ grey drybrush.
Might do some version 2 models but this time use something like Chaos Warhounds, it will just require some greenstuff work.
The colors are definitely spot on!

Update for all
Well as mentioned in my status things have grinded to a halt, which does annoy me as Armies on Parade is coming up and things always seem to happen around that time.
The Haunted for the Rourvuk has been painted though!
Busy staring at the SC for the Orks, have started building one of the models a while ago. Funny thing of when using Skaven heads instead of the Ork's makes them look like miniatures Rat Ogres.

Nearly there with the first base for the Troggoth, need to think what else needs to be added. Got another 5 to do this with, then working something out for the Sourbreath Troggoth. Most of the inspiration for this project draws from the Vicious Voodoo level/episode from Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Mostly getting the inspiration from the environments, always loved them back when I was a kid and still do now. Working with some swamp/voodoo themes.

Found a half-built project on my desk, because I keep track of so many things I sometimes I forget what the purpose of some. The project I found is a Carnifex torso with a Carnosaur head, now I'm wondering. Have Aztec Tyranids have been done before?

The model almost looks like your Avatar. You should reappropriate your project!

It almost does :D At the moment it's just going to stay on the side while I work on some other projects.

I like the little wood stand the troll is standing on... though I doubt such a rickety stand would hold up such a fat troll! :joyful:

I was questioning it myself but it somehow holds :p Then two of the others I have nearly done show one platform leaning over slightly and one has just fallen down and sticking out of the water.

Made some notes for them, needs some voodoo decorations and candles. Got the candles, just need to check for something for the voodoo side. Also want to find some more fish but don't know where to look. I can only make use of one of the fish from the Deepkin so off on a quest to find some more suitable miniature fish.

Massive drop of pictures, well more than I usually post. Got around to taking pictures of the Zombies and the Stained Glass Demon for the MediEvil 20th Anniversary celebration, still have some that I need to work on so they will appear at one point

The zombies are the ones I am most proud of so far in the celebration, was somehow able to paint them just right. The zombie below is one of the in-game examples

Next is the Stained Glass Demon, this guy was a massive fight to paint, hard to capture the colours and everything as the shape was organic compared to the game model. The base looks hideous as I tried to capture the one from the game also, including some coloured reflection to hopefully show the model being glass-like but that didn't work out well. At least I didn't give up with this one, even when it was a stressful paint.

Found another hidden project but I know what this is and what for.
IMG_20181016_162757838.jpg

The rise of the god of the Chaq'Kai, fleshed together from the sacrifices given to him yet he still hungers for more.
Still needs to be finished off and then painted, he will also be given a final form but I am still finding a model for that

Not much on the progress lately, been hitting the roadblocks with no motivation.
Been back to brainstorming as usual, want to expand on the Saurus Centaurs, which still haven't been fully built because I haven't decided on bases and attaching the shields. Always the shields that hug too close. I was thinking when I pick up the battleforce I will create the Carnosaur into a centaur like the others. I do have the torso from the Scyla kit but not sure if too small, did try to compare to my Carno but it feels like a hit or miss.
Could do something with Kroxigors but not sure on that one. All this feeing like a pure lizard ThunderScorn army :joyful:

At the moment it's just the brainstorming and building kits.

Thought I would post another picture of the Saurus

At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to attach the shields or attach them to their backs. Problem with Saurus shields is that they are always held really close to their bodies. I might end up attaching them to their backs.

You could always use Saurus Warrior shields rather than Saurus Cavalry shields as they come separate from the arms, so that gives you more freedom in terms of posing them.

Yes that would be an idea, many thanks! Just mostly tired of having to paint these models in separate pieces. I like my models to be fully built, saves blu tacking them when I take some of them to games.

Been working out whether this torso piece will fit well after all the greenstuff work, I did have the thoughts on the Ghorgon/Cygor body but I think it's on the big side. Then it will be digging for a head to fit the torso, the endless finding parts that will fit.
