I stopped playing wow halfway through Legion. I enjoyed it for the 12+ years I played it. And I still haven't found a better MMORPG, but you can only do the same thing so many times.

    So some updates,
As mentioned in the Hobbywise thread, working on collecting all the miniatures together for the Werewolf Cultists project. Now doing some thinking here, I want a backup plan for the Werewolves, so far I have the Skin Wolves but I want another alternative from GW just in case the local store doesn't allow Forgeworld for this years Armies on Parade. Still need to look around, the Ur-Ghuls seem a nice choice but not sure how big they are, I have a feeling they are small. Icefall Yhetees is another choice, which are the better choice.

You are correct, Ur-Ghuls are only infantry size. Yhetees would be a good choice, or if you're willing to go for Werewolves from another manufacturer, I would say try the Mantic Undead werewolves:

Thank you! I can add them to the collection but sadly won't be able to use them for Armies on Parade, but it's something for the list. I am aiming on collecting Werewolf miniatures and busts due to rekindled love for them lately, was always fascinated by them and the folklore, even when I was a kid.

Ordered some Yhetees, couldn't go out today due to the blessing of Nurgle is still strong, but hopefully my mum will pick me up some Fenrisian Wolves for the heads, will the use the spares as like broken statues. Also added Uriah Jacobus to the order, going to replace his gun and a few other bits.

Update: Just ordered the Mantic Werewolves

Yeah the Nurgle models are just... disconcerting to look at. Especially when painted well. :)

    Thank you all!
With the eyes it was done with Pallid Wych Flesh glazed in a green with a white pupil, can't remember if it was Pallid Wych. Should be carrying on today, want to get some more Lahmian Medium as it's the only one I trust for sealing the paint, yeah the expensive way but it keeps a lot of colour.

Finally, a completed miniature for the collection. A Beast of Nurgle. I do the technical paint after I seal with the Lahmian Medium as it will dull it, does the same with metallic but I can't avoid that one. Which happened with my sister's sculpture but it seems Ard'Coat helps a bit. I doubt I will recreate this one, the slow process of highlighting all those folds and texture on the front. Then I don't paint enough.

Many thanks! It was fun applying the Nurgles rot, all the time with careful highlighting and then it's the fun part with the technical paints

Thought of showing what is being worked on for Armies on Parade
    IMG_20190925_103047357~2.jpg

Two Lords of Change, a Cockatrice, 3 familiars (two of the fish and one bird) and Screamers of Tzeentch
One of the Lords is done, not sure whether to paint the spikes on the wings as I missed them, or just drybrush some silver on them.
If I get enough time I might pick up Kairos Fateweaver, have all three birds.
At the moment I am blessed by Papa Nurgle and it's been hard to paint over the past few days.

All the miniatures ready for the board, working on the board the past few days. It's a shame cause it feels like I could of done more, maybe next year I will focus on starting earlier so I can make something better. But I'm proud of getting a small selection of miniatures painted. Will take some better pics at one point.
Kept with some basic colours cause I will be forever, especially with the Lords of Change, I did had hopes on adding Kairos but oh well.

So currently thinking on expanding on the Vampire Counts army, of course there isn't many models to add on or in the collection available from GW.
But I want to convert a Dread Abyssal for Neferata, I have a lot of problems with building the Abyssal due to the weight it has to hold, a rather top heavy model. I have seen some alterations made so it sits better without the stress points.
There is also a choice of a Terrorgheist for the mount, currently of thinking of some other choices, possibly the body of a Manticore?
Also got myself thinking of the Blood Knights, I love the models but it's expensive for making a decent unit amount, they are good in the rules but the price tag. And GW don't sell the High Elf ones anymore where it was a common alternative to the Blood Knights, Chaos Knights seem a better choice.

Back from Armies on Parade, took 3 years! 3 years to finally enter! And won a few categories also, 3rd place on personal pick from the Store manager and Best theme for AoS, funny that the HQ GW didn't sent down a certificate for that category so I got given a framed picture instead, will be getting a plaque done so I can remember why it's hanging on my wall.

Next year I will be aiming for bigger! Hoping to score a medal next year. Now to plan what to do. Seraphon? Vampires? Tyranids? Endless choices
