Blog Ndege's painting and conversion lab - Nuff said!

after doing five or more arms I decided that my first sculpting attempt does not have to result in a master piece... Attached the first one to the model and am waiting for the second one to harden...
Also made a pumpkin. And tried to make a leave for it. I'm a little proud of the butterfly wings... Sight_2015_12_14_222830_476.jpg Sight_2015_12_14_223005_838.jpg Sight_2015_12_14_222918_413.jpg Sight_2015_12_14_222937_427.jpg
Maybe I should go and get some files to rework the edges...

I think the pumpkin, wings, and leaf all look good.

@tom ndege

Looks good tom but I think you now need to step it up abit, maybe it's the photo but looking at the feathers they look a tad flat, a stronger highlight may help, could you try a very strong highlight right at the tip and maybe add some little highlight flashes down the spine?

It's good but I think you are capable of more :)

He's really not done yet... Had very little time for concentrated painting the last weeks... Always just doing some little things here and there. Sometimes I painted standing in front of the racks I've stored my stuff in... Bascoating or priming something is ok that way but for highlights and details I'll take my time...;)
Oh! And thanks for believing in my ability! ;)

Ahhh, I believe you will achieve great things my Padawan

Oh errr, getting carried away now (we need a Jedi and sith Emote @n810)

Looking good with the sculpts dude, I was trying sculpting with some green stuff and it is way too sticky for me...I need to see some videos on that stuff so I can learn how to work with it...

Thanks. Im just trying around a little bit. I found out that water helps with the stickiness of the GS. But atm I'm using cheaper stuff cause I have to get to know the tools and how to use them.

Have been doing something on my spear unit. Now they are all on a same minimum level of painting... All have now a skin-color and their scales... And a individual marks on their crest...

Alright man now you got me wanting to try some modeling...I'll start small though^_^

I'm the same, I'm on with painting my Scar vet on Carny which is a rubber model with some greenstuff additions.
